Amber Alert issued for 4-year-old believed to be in danger after abduction in West Texas

Authorities issued an Amber Alert Friday for a 4-year-old boy who’s believed to be in danger after being abducted in West Texas.

The Midland County Sheriff’s office is searching for Caleb Andrew Tondre, who was last seen in Midland about 4:20 p.m. Friday. They’re also looking for Christopher Allen Tondre, a suspect wanted in connection with the boy’s disappearance, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
They believe Caleb is in grave or immediate danger.

Caleb is described as a white 4-year-old who was born June 3, 2013. He’s about 3-foot, 45 pounds with reddish blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a lime green "Gap" shirt, khaki pants and red Jordan shoes.

Christopher Tondre is described as a 36-year-old white man who was born June 17, 1981. He’s 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and a "tribal" tattoo on his left arm. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans.

He was last known to be driving a blue 2005 Kia Optima with a Texas license plate HBS5560. It has a New England Patriots sticker on back window.

Anyone with information about the abduction is asked to call the Midland County Sheriff’s Office at 432-688-1040.
